Mornin', WA2K radio folks.

Hang up My Rock and Roll Shoes by Chuck Wills was a new on to me, edgar. Thanks again. Jerry Lee's Corrina, Corrina, I do know. Great one by Janis Ian for those who are still snowed in and under.

Welcome back, Jes. For a moment there I thought you were going to do Sugar Ray Robinson to tie in with our sport peoples. Great one by that group. Never heard them before.

Hey Brit. My favorite by you was David Bowie's Laughing Gnome. Reminded me of "the Roaming Gnome". Also, thanks for the info about Johnny Cash.

Lloyd Bridges did Sea Hunt right down here in Silver Springs. Several Tarzan movies were also made there, and the imported monkeys were left and the Rhesus ones learned to swim.

Last movie I saw with Lloyd was Blown Away.

Noticed that Denzel Washington is starring in a movie called "The Book of Eli" I searched through the archives thinking it was the Eli in the Bible. Nope, this one is about what's left of the planet after devastation. Sorta like Blade Runner, I guess.

Might as well play a song about old Eli, folks.

For those of you who are interested, here's info on the history of Silver Springs, Fl.

I see the Creature was filmed there, letty. I saw that one in 3D when it came out.
And I always appreciate 3DogNight. Rock - still playing Marvin. Howdy.

@Rockhead,
I love Marvin as well, Rocky, and Night Life tells it like it is.

Here's another of my favorites from Marvin, y'all.

Howdie to you, edgar. Bud and I took a spin in the glass bottom boats and I was a mite concerned when I saw a bit of water on the bottom. It was a treat to take the tour, however

@Letty,
Oh, I understand now. All you have to do is hit the other thumb to make the song come back.

@edgarblythe,
Where the song disappeared there will be the word "view" -
Click it and the song will reappear. Then you can click the correct thumb to make it stay.

@Letty,
Teachers probably grasp a situation much quicker than I. At first, I did not understand what you were telling me. Smile

Well, edgar, I cannot tell you how much I've learned from the folks here at A2K. It's a two way street, buddy. I don't think I said it just right.

Yep, Beatles, Listen and all shall be revealed. Thanks for that one, Texas.

After my oldest brother died, they found these words on a scrap of paper inside his billfold:

Send not to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
