@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, you can't trust them computers named Hal. Think that's what I'll name mine.

Love that Eddie Cantor song, buddy. Ah, how he can roll those eyes.

Today is Beethoven's birthday, so let's dedicate this one to him.

@Rockhead,
Loved that House of Fun, but if you want to have more fun without madness, check out Eddie Cantor and Roll Over Beethoven.

Speaking of fun and madness, today is Littlk's birthday, and I can't get nuttin' to work.

@Letty,
Hey Lovelies...

Not sure if you've heard this yet, but even so...

here's our little UK star - Joe McElderry

The Climb

can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head sayin,
You'll never reach it,
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
The struggles I'm facing,
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes they knock me down but
No I'm not breaking
The pain I'm knowing
But these are the moments that
I'm going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,

I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on,
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It's all about
It's all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith

Thanks for Rollover Beethoven, letty. And the Christmas music. Hi peeples. I haven't been online much today. Nothing wrong. Just one of those days. I haven't heard Neil Young much lately. Here is one off of the Harvest album.

Rock, That one by ELO was sad, buddy, but I listened twice anyway.

Dear Izzie, yep just like that singing Joe says, "...we got to keep the faith.." even though it's like a nightmare before Christmas.

Time for me to say goodnight, and we'll dedicate this to candle George.

first the Latin version.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GPeioF_1xk&feature=related

Now the English ones, y'all.

O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him,
Born the King of Angels;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

O Sing, choirs of angels,
Sing in exultation,
Sing all that hear in heaven God's holy word.
Give to our Father glory in the Highest;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

All Hail! Lord, we greet Thee,
Born this happy morning,
O Jesus! for evermore be Thy name adored.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

Much love and faith in things unseen.

From Letty with same.

I like Joy to the World in any language letty. Enjoyed barry's Christmas music, particularly James Brown's. James's song was recorded the same year I saw him perform at Madison Square Garden.

Good morning, WA2K folks

I'm with you, edgar. I love James Brown, and it looks as though our Brit has shown him "with a brand new bag". Razz

Thanks for the acknowledgement, Texas, and I love that Christmas medley of the 80's. Some I knew, and some I didn't. Santa Baby was also done by Ertha Kitt.

Quote for the day:

Not what we give, but what we share,--
For the gift without the giver is bare;
Who gives himself with his alms feeds three,--
Himself, his hungering neighbor, and me.

James Russell Lowell

Now a couple of birthday boys.

Studi and Mills bdays duly noted and recorded. Rock's redneck song also. It's a miserable day here. Unbroken rain and cold. My feet stayed wet four hours this morning. They're dry n cozy now.

Ever wonder what song graced the flip side of Jingle Bell Rock? Neither did I. But, I found it anyway.

Good afternoon (here at least) WA2K folks

Rocky moose, I loved that song by Neal McCoy. He has a marvelous voice. Just found out that he is part Irish and part Fillipino. Rednecktified was funny, too. Thanks Kansas.

Hey, dj. Love the way you began your Christmas song downloads. You are one clever canuck. I can't because I have no blank discs, buddy, but Merry Christmas A2K was a great idea.

edgar, glad ya got your feet dry and the flip side of Jingle Bells, Hoorah for Captain Santa Claus, made us smile.

Thinking about Mark Twain today because my daddy had a complete set of all his books.

I think I read most of his books when I was a kid.
