Wow! Loved The Killers, Urs and of course your Taibo Drums. Thanks, gal.

The tete-a-tete between panz and dys is great for the talk part of our cyber radio.

edgar, Donovan is so compelling. That Sunny Goodge Street was intriguing. Especially like the flute that seem to harmonize with his voice.

TCM had a tribute to Johnny Mercer this evening, and I love that man.

Here's another tribute, y'all.

@JPB,
Ah, more Nat and Johnny. Thanks, Miss squirrel. Love that one.

Well, time for me to say goodnight, so I think that I shall do so with a funny one, y'all. Today is Elizabeth Perkins birthday and you may not remember that she was Wilma in the movie The Flintstones. I didn't see the movie but was stunned to see that Elizabeth Taylor was in it. She is in sad shape today.

Here is the trailer.

I have seen The Flintstones movie. It had some funny moments. I read the other day that Liz Taylor is considering a return to acting.

Here is Dolly's take on the Coat of Many Colors. Pardon the moisture in my eyes. Must have gotten a bit of dust in them.

Good morning, WA2K folks

edgar, That's one of my favorites by Dolly. Yes, it is a sad moment, Texas. I agree with the Brit. I am truly concerned about our Izzie.

Speaking of Barry the Brit, Thanks for acknowledging the funny Freight Train guitar piece.

Ah, The Bowerbirds brought back an old memory of mine. I always wanted to go to Chapel Hill college. Great song, buddy, and that song by the Anonanimal was beautiful. "Laters"

How about an early morning song by Eric, y'all.

Early in the Morning by Eric called to mind this one co-written by Bobby Darin, performed by Buddy Holly. (Bobby's version was released under the artist name The Rinkydinks, for some reason I never did get).

Hey, Brit. I recall that movie. That was a torrid scene on the beach, buddy. I did have to go and do more research, however, because I had forgotten the plot. Thanks for Frank's theme. Still a bit confused about the "pirate part".

edgar, That was a goodun by Buddy. Thanks, Texas.

Well, folks, today is Jodie Foster's birthday, so here is a tribute to her.

Good morning, Letty, edgar, Barry, and listeners.

edgar -- pass the kleenex box this way when you're done with it. That was a great song by Dolly.

Letty -- I love starting off my morning with a bit of the Blues.

Barry! Pirate Radio!?!?!?!

This is a very, very special video once sent to me by someone very special. Sending it on to Iz.

@JPB,
Thanks, Miss squirrel. Never heard that fellow, but you're right. Somehow the visuals seem sad. I did, however, find out that he was with the group Deep Purple, so I found this.

I still can't believe you found the Sierra Madre song, Letty. It is very popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for after ski parties or at the Octoberfest in Munich.

Here's a little language lesson! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7BK5sFSP50

@urs53,
Ah, so glad you liked that Sierra Madre song, Urs. and Pink was awesome. Her "Don't Leave Me" led me to this. It was another discovery from the Brits.
