Well, edgar, I get preoccupied with the history and unexplained mystery of the Tsars, just as I do Rudolph Valentino.

Didn't know Johnny did "I believe", nor the lady who sang it with him.

Hey, Brit, Welcome back. One of my favorites of Joni's is Both Sides Now.

Ah, Woodstock and the hippie days when Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young were still together.

One by them first, then a memory of "The Little Tramp" because it's Geraldine Chaplin's birthday.

Crosby Stills, Nash and Young - Quite a group.
I have a copy of The Gold Rush that I watched a time or two. I liked Chaplin better in front of the camera than behind it.

@edgarblythe,
My word, edgar. TCM shows a lot of the oldies. I guess the one that Tony is remembered best for is Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree, but I just had a bit of cognitive insight concerning Danny Thomas, and I found this.

Back later with my goodnight song, y'all.

@Letty,
I've never seen Danny Thomas in a movie. Just TV. He always seemed like such a nice guy.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, That's why TCM is such a wonderful channel to have. I awakened to The Original Charlie Chaplin movie, The Great Dictator , one evening and while it was a bit melodramatic, he did a fantastic job. Incidentally, this was Danny Thomas' first movie, methinks.

Robert Downey, Jr. did a movie about Chaplin's life as well.

Now for my goodnight song. Damn this guy is good, y'all.

Good morning, WA2K radio.

edgar, Loved your Buffy goodnight song, Texas. Thanks, and Cripple Creek is one of my favs.

The Count meets Cookie monster was hilarious, Brit.

Urs, welcome back. Fabulous song by Axel Rudi Pell. Never heard them, but I enjoyed Masquerade. Also enjoyed Status Quo's Rockin All Over the World.

Hope I didn't mess up as your PD's/Producer's equipment has been a bit shaky this morning.

Today is Robert Cray's birthday, y'all, and he is wonderful. The name of this song is Smoking Gun, so we'll dedicate this was to our Irish friend who has that moniker.

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Texas. I love that song and Neil Young as well. We'll dedicate that one to our Canadian friends. Thanks, buddy.

Today is Counting Crows' birthday. Strange name for a group, right?

First, however, a tribute to Richard Wright and his haiku.

The crow flew so fast
That he left his lonely caw
Behind in the fields.

Ok, here's Mr. Jones, y'all.
