10:55pm fashion report...
Old World glamour by Valentino. Slinky, shiny, Harlow-esque style makes a major comeback.

Letty, here is a link for Japanese holly, Ilex crenata.
There are many cultivars of Ilex crenata. One can click to see the cultivar listings on the website.

I have no idea if these ilexes do well in Florida; your caller should inquire at her local plant nursery.

That's the fun thing about WA2K - the flukey juxtaposition of Ilex crenata data and Valentino-not-ready-to-wear...

I've done that site before.
I've typed in my name and
watched the compliments pour
Yet no matter how many times
I've typed in
that site still leaves me with a grin.

I believe it everytime it tells me I'm terrific.

Joe

As well it should, Joe. As well it should.
Have I told you today what a good job you are doing as Assistant Station Manager? Why, I haven't had to lift a finger around here for the last two days. Here, I brought you a dozen Krispy Kremes...ALL with chocolate icing.

Good morning, to our listeners at WA2K radio.

eoe, what a trend--slinky satin and no sheik? I was hoping to see Anthony Dexter in the background. Cool

Osso, after I have coffee, I will check out your link. Our listeners will appreciate (especially those who don't know jack about growing stuff) all your expert tips.

All you guys need to get a grip. (uhoh!)

It's nice to see our station manager back with her assistant, Joe, and the Prince needs to report on Indian fashions.

News item:

Today Godzilla turns fifty, and a new production is in the making. He's come a long way from a man in a rubber suit.

Wow! Osso, I had forgotten the nomenclature of botany, etc. Drupes? Well, I'm afraid that that particular site doesn't fit my little tree.

We welcome all callers and hope that you stay tuned for the latest info on WA2K radio.

It seems that many members have returned to the audience. Hiama is back; Bibliophile is here with his Irish blues. Any others that you know of, please feel free to call our receptionist and let her know.

Dr. Lola will be here today to chat with all those in need of advice.

Memo to the Staff of WA2K

Leilani has told me that the Secret Santa packages have all been collected and placed under the big Happy Holidays sign that is between the Menorah and the Christmas tree across from the Kwanza shrine and well away from the curmudgeon-Scrooge-humbuggers section marked by the arrangement of black balloons and dead flowers.

Enjoy/ You may open yours now.

Joe

Willow--I need to re read your song for the morning. Thanks for the contribution to our little studio.

Prince, hiama was on Lola's Balderdash thread this morning.

Joe, I declare you definitely know where to put what-- A nice way of recognizing all celebrations.

Slippin' away, sittin' on a pillow
Waitin' for night to fall
A girl and a dream, sittin' on a pillow
This is the night to go to the celebrity ball

Satin and lace, isn't it a pity
Didn't find time to call
Ready or not, gonna make it to the city
This is the night to go to the celebrity ball

Dress up tonight, why be lonely?
You'll stay at home and you'll be alone
So why be lonely?
Sittin' alone, sittin' on a pillow
Waitin' to climb the walls
Maybe tonight, depending how your dream goes
She'll open her eyes when he goes to the celebrity ball

Celebrate, celebrate, dance to the music
Celebrate, celebrate, dance to the music
Celebrate, celebrate, dance to the music

Three Dog Night.

Maybe, her Grandma, Joe. Very Happy

And I wish Letty would let her listeners know if she's really serious about tracking down the Bluebird of Happiness.
