What? No laugh for me, dys? I'm wounded to the quick. (whatever that means)

Raggedy, thank you for the quintet of famous folks and the added info on the others. As I told C.I. I am sooooo paranoid about some things. JPB was kind enough to change my smiling face to a swaying palm tree.

We'll dedicate this one to Deb and all the Chopin lovers.

Out puppy will recognize the popular song that comes from that classical piece.

North
Joan Baez
In my last months of living in Brooklyn, I bought the joan Baez album, which featured such songs as Saigon Bride, Dangling Conversations, and this song, North. A neighbor friend borrowed it after I had listened a time or two.In less than a week, when she returned it, the record was dirty and scratched, the way you would expect if it had been thrown to the floor and run over constantly by daily traffic. It barely had a suggestion of grooves anymore. I tossed it.

Yep. I'm always chasing rainbows, watching clouds rolling by...... I love Chopin.

And I love Joan Baez

and Edgar:

You should have sued that neighbor for ruining such a beatiful album.

and, Letty, I still don't know why your smiling face is gone from WA2K.

@Raggedyaggie,
Well, puppy, I thought that because I could see the pictures on my computer via my avatar, that everyone could. (dumb Letty, but edgar set me straight)

Knew that you would know the rainbow thing, PA.

Actually, folks, I'm going to Virginia and leaving today. I hope the weather isn't bad. Been watching the snow that is sweeping Georgia.

Here's one by Hamp that I love. It's called Flying Home, which is what I shall be doing.

More Harry Belafonte
This is off the first of his albums purchased by me, in 1958. I still have it.

Good morning. Barbra Striesand followed me into the studio, so I guess I will invite her to sing.

I don't care for most of Lou Reed's recordings, but I do like this one.

Good morning. Of course, I rarely drink anymore, but if I did, I might be singing this song.
