@edgarblythe,
I agree, edgar, about Lobo. I'm not even certain that I watched the series.

Incidentally, Texas, I liked that Billy Ray song. Never heard it. I think Achy Breaky Heart sorta turned me off to his vocalizing.

A couple of movie reviews, y'all.

Saw Beyond the Sea again starring Kevin Spacey as Bobby Darin, and I swear, he is excellent. Here's the song that restored Bobby's popularity as done by Kevin.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pYwEKww5qw&feature=related

Also saw Kevin in the movie 21. It's a little slow at the beginning, but as the plot builds, the denouement is FANTASTIC. I recommend it, folks.

Back later to comment on Lord of the Dance, Texas.

I love anything that has to do with Bobby Darin. Here he is from one of his better albums.

@edgarblythe,
My word, edgar, that version of the Celtic dance was amazing. Loved it. Of course, Bobby was great in that song that you played. Reminded me of Sinatra in a way.

Time for me to say goodnight, and this Lady of the Dance is very tired. How about this one by Bobby and Stevie, y'all.

Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

Rocky, The Wizard of Oz still continues to amaze me. Thanks for the slipper collection. Especially enjoyed the truck song from the raccoon man(bandit) Razz

Hey downunder Dutchy. Thanks for continuing with Jerry, 'cause I have always liked that man. You ought to try travelin' I-95 sometime if you want to see and feel the eighteen wheelers rockin' on by.

Hey, folks. How about this funny one by James Taylor

Hey, puppy. You're asking Letty what day it is? UhOh. Thanks for the info and the great quintet, PA.

Two heroes on the one video - it's too much!
Patrick Kavanagh was an Irish poet. Luke Kelly a singer who influenced The Pogues, amongst others.

A belated Happy New Year Letty and many thanks to you and all the fine contributors to this thread who provide hours of entertainment (often serendipitous).

@lmur,
Imur, welcome back, Irish. There must be a little of the green in my genes as I am often quite fey. Still remember Galway Bay. Loved your Raglan Road song, and here is the man that Luke Kelly influenced.

alex, I just researched Amy. Don't know her, but it is quite sad about her life. Hope things work out for the lady with the lovely voice.

Hmmm, wonder where Ticomaya be? I thought that he might do another "when pigs fly". Is that anything like "when hens have teeth"? Razz

@Izzie,
Love Otis, Izzie, and I could be sitting on my neighbor's dock watching the dolphins, but I prefer knowing that my blood sugar is normal. Thanks for asking, lovely lady.

Hey, y'all. Did you know that Bon Jovi dedicated this to Hillary Clinton?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtzcOqv_P-4

About Otis

According to the website of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (where he was inducted in 1989), Redding's name is "synonymous with the term soul music that arose out of the black experience in America through the transmutation of gospel and rhythm and blues into a form of funky, secular testifying."
