Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Dr. Hook is familiar to me but only because he did that song about getting his picture on the cover of the Rolling Stones. Thanks, Texas, and don't forget to check out the history on those "cotton fields". I think our listeners will be interested. Really liked that song.

Morning, Rock. Well, buddy, when Don gave up on rock and roll, he lost his individuality, I'm afraid, but thanks for allowing us to hear Roy and Don.

Happy July 1, everyone, and today is Deborah Harry's birthday, and I like this song by her.

Dr Hook
Sylvia's Mother

I like this kind of stuff from the good Dr, much better than cover of rolling stone.

My word, edgar. I had no idea Dr. Hook did that one. I like it as well, Texas.

Looking at the political news today, I see we don't have much of a choice, folks. Everyone is pandering. Ian is right.

and a good day to you, Raggedy, and all of your celebs. Not a dead one among them, folks.

I like this song by Leslie, and the little hand game that she does with the puppets we used to do to "pease porridge hot; pease porridge cold; pease porridge in the pot; nine days old; some like it hot; some like it cold; some like it in the pot; nine days old." Guess I'll have to check out pease porridge, people. Razz

Gus, go back to bed. <smile> Well, welcome back anyway.

Raggedy played the same song by Leslie that I did, so I will play your song by a different artist, honey.

This video has been getting millions of hits. I didn't have the patience to watch over half of it, but anyway, form your own opinion about it.

edgar, that's the craziest song ever I heared. What's it supposed to mean?

Hey, Gus, what's wrong with your RNA. That's what you told Victor Murphy to do, and I ain't seen that man since.

Well, folks, it shall come to pass that the chicks and the bulls shall lie down together.

The song was meaningless to me, letty. I admit, though, I did't care enough to try to figure it out.

That dog with the chicks has to be mellow.

How about this one by Donovan, edgar?

Who is it?; one of our regulars does not like Donovan, specifically because of Mellow Yellow. But, I like all of his records, from early on, until the album, Open Road, which was not as interesting.

To tell you the truth, edgar, I did not know that Mellow Yellow alluded to drugs. Hope we didn't offend the "regular" of whom you speak.

Really enjoyed Johnny and Louis. Wow! they both looked in prime condition, and the song was great. Thanks, Texas.

I never hear "He Ain't Heavy..." without thinking of Boys Town. That version by the Hollies was particularly good.

Here's a funny one, folks, with a great trio. California is really suffering from the lingering effects of the fires. Smoke is quite "heavy" there.
