Here is a 1982 Oscars tribute to Irving Berlin. Ah, that Bernadette Peters - And Steve Martin got to lick her face.

And in America, edgar.

22 dead in Mo., Okla., Ga. after new round of storms
By MURRAY EVANS, Associated Press Writer 5 minutes ago
PICHER, Okla. - Crews and search dogs hunted Sunday for survivors or bodies in piles of debris after tornados and storms rumbled across the region a day earlier and killed at least 22 people in three states.
Seven people died in Picher, once a bustling mining center of 20,000 that dwindled to about 800 people as families fled lead pollution here, and officials held out hope that they wouldn't find any more bodies.
Residents said the tornado created a surreal scene as it tore through town late Saturday afternoon, injuring 150 people, overturning cars, throwing mattresses and twisted metal high into the canopy of trees.
"I swear I could see cars floating," said Herman Hernandez, 68. "And there was a roar, louder and louder."

I saw that story in the news, letty. When a storm threatens, I often take Mrs edgarblythe to the apartments for safety. We live in a mobile home that is surrounded by tall pine trees.

Wow! Storming heavens, edgar. Incidentally, Texas, I loved that song by B.P. It makes a great jazz piano song as well. We'll dedicate that one to our Eva and hope that she is all right. She likes "What'll I Do".

Let's perk ourselves up and listen to Sky Pilot, shall we?

Oh, my God, Raggedy. That was a grim song and video. Has there ever been a war that wasn't fought for the sake of economics? It was beautifully done, however. Thanks for the reminder, PA.

Yes, edgar, there are many in our vast audience who have children and deserve a salute from us, because that is the hardest job in the world.

Well, folks, this is Sunday and we need something uplifting, so let's listen to The Florida Boys.

Somehow, this song by Eddie Fisher seems appropriate about now.

Eddie Fisher has a wonderful voice, edgar, and "...to be young and foolish.." is lovely. Nothing wrong with that, Texas, but, as Robert Browning noted, we have to pay the piper what we owe him.

Here's a delightful tribute to Irving Berlin, y'all.

Beers To You sung by Ray Charles and Clint Eastwood

Ray: When Uncle Sam called us up,
We hit that Eastern Sand,
Fought like Hell for three long years,
In that South Asian Land,

Clint: We met a few foreign ladies,
Drank a lot of Lukewarm beer,
(Ray spoken) oh i remember,
But tonight in this old Tuscan bar
(Ray) You know what? Its so damn
good to see you here.

Chorus:
Both: Beers to you, old Amigo,
For all the good times,
And heres to all the women,
that we've been through,
Lets set 'Em up my compadre,
Ray: Barstool to barstool
Clint: Shoulder to shoulder
All right! Beers to you!

Clint: Ray, you remember back in Phoenix,
When we walked into that fight?
Ray: Uh huh,
Clint: we whipped them local boys (aww did we!),
Then we bought 'em drinks all night,

Ray: And when my lovin' wife
left for points unknown,
You were there to fill my glass,
And it proved to me, A womans love can fade,
With the taste of Coors,
And good friends always last,

Chorus:
Both: Beers to you, old Amigo,
For all the good times,
And heres to all the women,
that we've been through,
Lets set 'Em up my compadre,
Ray: Barstool to barstool
Clint: Shoulder to shoulder.
All right! Beers to you!

Clint: Hey Ray, lets have one more,
Ray: Alright, Clint, its my turn to buy,
Clint: In that case lets have two,
Ray: I just remembered, I got a
date, two barstools down,
Clint: You mean that little Redhead?
Ray: Mmhmm.

Chorus:
Both: Beers to you, old Amigo,
For all the good times,
And heres to all the women,
that we've been through,
Lets set 'Em up my compadre,
Ray: Barstool to barstool
Clint: Shoulder to shoulder
All right! Beers to you!

Beers to you!

Victor, pay no attention to that man behind the beard, that was a fabulous song by Clint and Ray. Razz and the whoopee cushion is no longer in production, 'cause I checked.

Welcome back, Gus. My niece calls me Ant Letty.

Well, edgar, Irving Berlin is too prolific for us to do them all.

Speaking of the man behind the curtain, folks, how about a little of that yellow brick road.

I like Goodbye Yeller Brick Road. I came across this: Harry James has to be taught to play the trumpet by Huntz Hall, of The Bowery Boys.

My word, edgar. I recall Debacle doing a Bowery Boys video. Yours was funny, and seeing Harry James in his youth was something to behold.

Hmmm. Just to remind all of us...

Dream Catch Me - not bad.

My good night song is from the great Bob Dylan. A fanciful tale of
Lilly, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts.

Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

Wow! edgar, that was a great song by Bob Dylan. Never heard that one, Texas. I need to replay it to get the message, if there is one.

We know that the cuckoo is a bird, and that a cuckoo is a clock that is often set to awaken you, so here is one that I used to play on piano.
