Smartest Dog Ever

As a butcher is shooing a dog from his shop, he sees $10 and a note in his mouth, reading: "10 lamb chops, please." Amazed, he takes the money, puts a bag of chops in the dog's mouth, and quickly closes the shop. He follows the dog and watches him wait for a green light, look both ways, and trot across the road to a bus stop. The dog checks the timetable and sits on the bench. When a bus arrives, he walks around to the front and looks at the number, then boards the bus. The butcher follows, dumbstruck.

As the bus travels out into the suburbs, the dog takes in the scenery. After awhile he stands on his back paws to push the "stop" button, then the butcher follows him off.

The dog runs up to a house and drops his bag on the stoop. He goes back down the path, takes a big run, and throws himself -Whap!- against the door. He does this again and again. No answer. So he jumps on a wall, walks around the garden, beats his head against a window, jumps off, and waits at the front door. A big guy opens it and starts cursing and pummeling the dog.

The butcher runs up screams at the guy: "What the hell are you doing? This dog's a genius!"

The owner responds, "Genius. It's the second time this week he's forgotten his key!"

Thanks, Bob, for the smile and the bio's. Wonder if our puppy appreciated that dog story. Hope she doesn't forget her key. Razz

Here's one by that Russian guy, and I also found Fantasia. My word, folks, Disney knew how to scare kids, didn't he?

Good evening to you, hbg. What a wonderful song and video, Canada. One doesn't even need the translation to understand the message. The lady was lovely, and the audience was entranced. I adore Viennese waltzes, but I chose this one instead, folks.

(it is lovely here, and the moorhens are floating on my pond out back)

very enjoyable , letty !

you might like to visit one of the many cofeehouses in vienna - just bring lots of time - nobody is in a rush .

wiener kaffeehaus musik : viennese coffeehouse music
(this is a staged scene)

scene in a typical viennese coffeehouse .
you order a cup of coffee , perhaps a piece of cake , read one of the many newspapers hanging on a rack , chat with your friends or just sit alone , listen to a pianist or two musicians ... and just relax - people will often stay for an hour or two just nursing a coffee - the viennese have a lot of time on their hands .
ladies wearing a hat are always VERY welcome !

just came across THOMAS QUASTHOFF and had to post the link .
i have never heard him in a live performance but saw some of his specials on TV .
he is an amazing person and artist . he was a thalodomide baby and was not giving much of a chance of becomong a singer when he was growing up - instead it was suggested he become a lawyer - but his love of music brought him back to music .
he has now become one of the best known german "lieder" saengers - and students flock to his master classes - just an amazing artist and human being .

from wiki :

Quote:
Thomas Quasthoff (born in Hildesheim, Germany, November 9, 1959) is a German bass-baritone generally regarded as one of the finest singers of his generation. Although his reputation was initially based on his performance of Romantic lieder, Quasthoff has proven to have a remarkable range from the Baroque cantatas of Bach to solo jazz improvisations.

Good morning, WA2K listening audience.

My goodness, there's that nice looking guy with a beard. Welcome to our wee studio, Rockhead, and it's nice to see Amigo back with us as well.

Love John Lee Hooker, guys. Thanks for the reminder of the man who only had a fourth grade education and yet could do the soul music with the right feeling.

edgar, I recall that Shannon man and his Runaway song. Thanks Texas.

Today is the birthday of Andrew Lloyd Weber. What a composer, folks, and speaking of "rock" here is his updated version of Jesus Christ Superstar. Although I like Sarah Brightman's version better, this one is unique. Turn up the volume, folks.

edgar, I was waiting to see if Bob or the puppy had popped in. Perhaps Raggedy did indeed forget her key.

Thank you for Victor Borge and his guest's minute waltz. He is so very funny and The Green Leaves of Summer is lovely.

Today is Will Yun Lee's birthday, so here is a tribute to him.

Oops, I failed to mention that Will Yun Lee was in the movie Die Another Day. It was a James Bond movie starring Pierce Brosnan.

Madonna does the theme, folks.
