Floyd the rooster costs a lot of money, but the farmer decides he'll be
worth it. So he buys Floyd. The farmer takes Floyd home and sets him
down in the barnyard--then gives the rooster a pep talk.
"I want you to pace yourself now. You've got a lot of chickens to
service here, and you cost me a lot of money. Consequently, I'll need
you to do a good job. So take your time and have some fun," the farmer
said, with a chuckle.
Floyd seemed to understand, so the farmer pointed toward the hen house
and Floyd took off like a shot. WHAM! Floyd nailed every hen in the hen
house, three or four times. The farmer was flabbergasted.
After that the farmer heard a commotion in the duck pen. Sure enough,
Floyd was there.
Later, the farmer saw Floyd after a flock of geese by the lake. Once
again, WHAM! Floyd got all the geese.
By sunset the farmer saw Floyd in the field chasing quail and pheasants.
The farmer was distraught and worried that his expensive rooster
wouldn't last even 24 hours. The farmer went to bed.
When he awoke the next day, he found Floyd on his back--stone cold in
the middle of the yard. Vultures were circling overhead. The farmer,
saddened by the loss of such a colorful and expensive bird, shook his
head and said "Oh, Floyd, I told you to pace yourself. I tried to get
you to slow down, now look what you've done to yourself."
Floyd opened one eye, nodded toward the vultures circling in the sky and
said, "Shhh! They're getting closer."

Good morning, WA2K listeners and contributors.
Wow! There's our hawkman back with a rooster tale. Love it, Boston, and quite timely as chanticleer is the herald of the morn. Will await our Raggedy, as usual, before commenting on your celeb's, but many thanks to you, dear.
Let's begin the day with a song of the night, listeners.
Tonight we dance
I lay my life in your hands
We take the floor
Nothing is forbidden anymore
Don't let the world in outside
Don't let a moment go by
Nothing can stop us tonight
Bailamos, let the rhythm take you over
Bailamos, te quiero amor mio
Bailamos wanna live this night forever
Bailamos te quiero amor mio te quiero
Tonight I'm yours
We can make it happen,
I'm so sure
Now I'm letting go
There is something
I think you should know
I won't be leaving your side
We're gonna dance through the night
I wanna reach for the stars
Bailamos, let the rhythm take you over
Bailamos, te quiero amor mio
Bailamos wanna live this night forever
Bailamos te quiero amor mio te quiero
Tonight we dance
Like no tomorrow
If you will stay with me
Te quiero mi amor
Spanish Version:
Bailamos
Esta Noche Bailamos
Esta noche te doy la bienvenida
Quedate conmigo

Bongo Bong
Mama was queen of the mambo
Papa was king of the Congo
Deep down in the jungle
I started bangin' my first bongo
Every monkey'd like to be
In my place instead of me
Cause I'm the king of bongo, baby
I'm the king of bongo bong
I went to the big town
Where there is a lot of sound
From the jungle to the city
Looking for a bigger crown
So I play my boogie
For the people of big city
But they don't go crazy
When I'm bangin' in my boogie
I'm the "king of the bongo, king of the bongo bong"
Hear me when I come
King of the bongo, king of the bongo bong
They say that I'm a clown
Making too much dirty sound
They say there is no place for little monkey in this town
Nobody'd like to be in my place instead of me
Cause nobody go crazy when I'm bangin' on my boogie
I'm the king of the bongo, king of the bongo bong
Hear me when I come
"King of the bongo, king of the bongo bong"
Bangin' on my bongo all that swing belongs to me
I'm so happy there's nobody in my place instead of me
I'm a king without a crown hanging loose in a big town
But I'm the king of bongo baby I'm the king of bongo bong
King of the bongo, king of the bongo bong
Hear me when I come, baby, king of the bongo, king of the bongo bong...

Wow! Here's another European heard from. Welcome back, Germany.
and to continue, Walter....
Each morning the missionary advertises on the neon sign,
It tells the native population that civilization is fine.
And pre-educated savages holler from the bamboo tree
That civilization is not for me to see.
Chorus:
Oh bongo bongo bongo, I don't wanna leave the
Congo oh no, no, no, no, no,
Bingle bangle bongle, I don't wanna leave jungle,
I refuse to go.
I don't want landlords, junkyard, cocktails, caviar,
I'll make it clear that no matter how they coax me,
I'll stay right here.
I looked through a magazine a missionary's wife concealed.
I see how people who are civilized bang you with automobile.
When they have two weeks' vacation, they hurry to vacation grounds,
They swim and they fish, but that's what I do all year round.
Chorus:
Oh bongo bongo bongo, I don't wanna leave the
Congo oh no, no, no, no, no,
Bingle bangle bongle, I don't wanna leave jungle,
I refuse to go.
I don't want landlords, junkyard, cocktails, caviar,
I'll make it clear that no matter how they coax me,
I'll stay right here.
They have things like the atom bomb,
So I think I'll stay here where I am,
Civilization, I'll stay here.

Is this what you wanted
You were the promise at dawn,
I was the morning after.
You were Jesus Christ my Lord,
I was the money lender.
You were the sensitive woman,
I was the very reverend Freud.
You were the manual orgasm,
I was the dirty little boy.
And is this what you wanted
to live in a house that is haunted
by the ghost of you and me?
Is this what you wanted...
You were Marlon Brando,
I was Steve McQueen.
You were K.Y. Jelly,
I was Vaseline.
You were the father of modern medicine,
I was Mr. Clean.
You where the whore and the beast of Babylon,
I was Rin Tin Tin.
And is this what you wanted...
And is this what you wanted...
You got old and wrinkled,
I stayed seventeen.
You lusted after so many,
I lay here with one.
You defied your solitude,
I came through alone.
You said you could never love me,
I undid your gown.
And is this what you wanted...
And is this what you wanted...
I mean is this what you wanted...
That's right, is this what you wanted...

Well, folks, it's time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do it with a funny song, if that's all right.
Richard "Lord" Buckley, 1906-1960
Milords, Miladies of the Royal Court
I should like to salute William Shakespeare.
In this language he's called Willie the Shake.
You know why they called him Willie the Shake?
Because he shook everybody.
They give him a nickel's worth of ink and five cents worth of paper,
he sat down, wrote up such a breeze, brrt, that's all there was, Jack,
there was no more.
That's all she wrote! Ever'body got off!
Got so many studs arguin' about findin' about who he was
they blew his right name.
Understand what I mean?
Here's a stud that's so powerful and so great
they dig him up every six months, say,
"Yeah, dat's him, put him back. He's alright."
Too hard a stud.
An' you remember when Mark was swingin' wid Cleo on da Nile,
cruisin' under that crazy moon, wit dis wild crazy Cleo.
Wheeeew. Hmmmmmm.
Hello friends.
And Caesar got all goofed up and swung in dere to Rome
and got into that hassle and they sliced him all down. You're......
Naturally the Roman Senate was jumpin' slightly all over the place,
so Mark had to cool it.
So he fell in on 'em, he says:
Hipsters, flipsters, and finger-poppin' daddies,
Knock me your lobes.
I came here to lay Caesar out,
Not to hip you to him.
The bad jazz that a cat blows,
Wails long after he's cut out.
The groovey, the groovey is often stashed
With their frames.
So don't put Caesar down.
To swing, or not to swing, that is the hang-up!
From Letty with love and a smile.

"Tennessee Stud"
Back about eighteen and twenty-five
I left Tennessee very much alive
I never would've made it through the Arkansas mud
If I hadn't been riding on the Tennessee Stud
Had some trouble with my sweetheart's Pa
One of her brothers was a bad outlaw
I wrote a letter to my Uncle Spud And
I rode away on the Tennessee Stud
On a Tennessee Stud
The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
There never was a horse like Tennessee Stud
Drifted on down into no man's land
Across the river called the Rio Grande Raced my horse with the Spaniard's foe
Til I got me a skin full of silver and gold
Me and the gambler, we couldn't agree
We got in a fight over Tennessee Pulled our guns and he fell with a thud
And I rode away on a Tennessee Stud
The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
There was never a horse like the Tennessee Stud
I rode right back across Arkansas
I whipped her brother and
I whipped her Pa
I found that girl with the golden hair
She was riding on a Tennessee Mare
Pretty little baby on the cabin floor
Little horse colt playing round the door
I loved the girl with the golden hair
And the Tennessee Stud loves the Tennessee Mare
The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
There was never a horse like the Tennessee Stud

Tonight You Belong To Me
Patience & Prudence
I know (I know)
You belong to somebody new
But Tonight you belong to me
Although (although) we're apart
Your part of my heart
And tonight you belong to me
Way down by the stream
How sweet it will seem
Once more just to dream
In the moonlight
My honey I know (I know)
With the dawn that you will be gone
But tonight you belong to me
Way down, way down along the stream
How very, very sweet it will seem
Once more just to dream
In the silvery moonlight
My honey, I know (I know)
With the dawn that you will be gone
But tonight you belong to me
Just to little old me

Melodie d'Amour
The Ames Brothers
Melodie d'amour, take this song to my lover
Shoo, shoo little bird, go and find my love
Melodie d'amour, serenade at her window
Shoo, shoo little bird, sing my song of love
Oh, tell her I will wait, if she names a date
Tell her that I care, more than I can bear
For when we are apart, how it hurts my heart
So fly oh fly away and say that I hope and pray
This lovers melody will bring her back to me
Melodie d'amour, take this song to my lover
Shoo, shoo little bird, go and find my love
Melodie d'amour, serenade at her window
shoo, shoo little bird, tell her of my love
Oh, tell her how I yearn, long for her return
Say I miss her so, more than she could know
For when we are apart, how it hurts my heart
So fly, oh, fly away and say that I hope and pray
This lover's melody will bring her back to me
Melodie d'amour, serenade at her window
Shoo, shoo little bird, tell her of my love

Good morning, WA2K folks.
Well, Texas, thanks for all three of those delightful songs; a horse, a bird, and a melody of love.
Here's one for the morning, listeners, and it reflects the mood of all nations. This time, it's the original version.
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
We starve
Look at one another
Short of breath
Walking
Proudly in our winter coats
Wearing smells from laboratories
Facing a dying nation
Of moving paper fantasy
Listening for the new told lies
With supreme visions
Of lonely tunes
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Somewhere inside
Something
Theres a rush of greatness
Who knows what stands in front of our lives
I fashion
My future
On films in space
Silence tells me
Silence tells me secretly
Everything
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Stockholm, sweden
Sweden
Across the baltic sea
And Im a genius, genius
And I belive in god
And I believe that God believes in jean-pierre
Thats me
Thats me
Thats me
Singing our space songs on a spider web sitar
Life is around you and in you
You gotta answer for army of lovers
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in

Hey, George. Tried to locate the lyrics to "Patience and Fortitude" by the Count, but he has decided not to let us, buddy. Soooooo, if you want to know what girls want, here is the answer.
Artist: Christina Aguilera
Song: What a Girl Wants
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever makes me happy and sets you free.
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever keeps me in your arms.
And I'm thanking you for being there for me.
Like a rock you waited so patiently, while I got it together.
While I figured it out, I only looked but I never touched,
'Cause in my heart was a picture of us:
Holding hands, making plans,
And it's lucky for me, you understand.
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever makes me happy and sets you free.
And I'm thanking you for knowing exactly...
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever keeps me in your arms.
And I'm thanking you for being there for me.
A weaker man might have walked away, but you had faith
Strong enough to move over and understand, while I got it together.
While I figured it out, they say, "If you love something let it go.
If it comes back it's yours, and that's how you know.
It's for keeps, yeah, it's for sure."
And you're ready and willing to give me more (than)....
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever makes me happy and sets you free.
And I'm thanking you for knowing exactly...
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever keeps me in your arms.
And I'm thanking you for being there for me.
Somebody sensitive and tough;
Somebody there when the going gets rough;
Every night, he'll be giving his love
To just one girl... one girl... one.
Somebody cool but real tender too;
Somebody, baby, just like you
Can keep me hangin' around with the one who always knew.
I'm thankin' you for being there for me.
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever makes me happy and sets you free.
And I'm thanking you for knowing exactly...
What a girl wants, what a girl needs,
Whatever keeps me in your arms.
And I'm thanking you for being there for me.
That about sums it up, listeners

Clint Walker
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Norman Eugene "Clint" Walker (born May 30, 1927 in Hartford, Illinois) is an American actor best known for his cowboy role as "Cheyenne Bodie" in the TV Western series, Cheyenne.
Walker, a strapping young man of 1/4 Cherokee descent; he stood 6' 6" (198 cm) and according to a Time magazine article in its 3-30-59 issue, had measurements of 48-32-36. He left school to join the United States Merchant Marine at the tail end of World War II then worked at odd jobs in California and Las Vegas where he worked as a doorman at the Sands Hotel. In Los Angeles, he was hired by Cecil B. DeMille to appear in The Ten Commandments. A friend in the film business helped get him a few bit parts that brought him to the attention of Warner Bros. who were in the process of developing a western style television series. Walker's good looks and physique landed him an audition and he won the lead role. Billed as "Clint" Walker, he was cast as "Cheyenne Bodie," a cowboy hero set in the post American Civil War era.
Although the series regularly capitalized on Walker's rugged frame with frequent bare-chested scenes, it was well written and acted and proved hugely popular for eight seasons on the ABC television network. Walker then played roles in several big screen films including a trio of modest but satisfying westerns for Gordon Douglas -- Fort Dobbs in 1958, Yellowstone Kelly in 1959, and Gold of the Seven Saints in 1961 -- as well as The Night of the Grizzly in 1966 and, in the following year, the very successful war drama, The Dirty Dozen. During the 1970s he returned to television, starring in a number of made-for-TV western films as well as a short-lived series in 1974 called Kodiak. Approaching the age of sixty, during the ensuing two decades Walker appeared infrequently in minor roles but still maintained a loyal following from his Cheyenne days and is a popular guest star at Western film festivals and the like. When Walker took a break from acting, it was reported that he had purchased a huge cattle ranch in Madagascar. If this was factual or a publicist's invention is not known at this time. He did however, return to small roles in television in the mid 1980's. (see IMDb list of roles).
For his contribution to the television industry, Clint Walker has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1501 Vine Street. In 2004, he was inducted into the Western Performers Hall of Fame at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Biography
Judd was born in Ashland, Kentucky as Christina Claire Ciminella. She was given the last name of Michael Ciminella, her sister Ashley's biological father. Her own biological father was Charles Jordan, who died in 2000, and who was never married to Naomi Judd.
Her immediate family consists of her mother Naomi, half sister Ashley, son Elijah Judd (born December 23, 1994), daughter Grace Pauline (born June 21, 1996), and her second husband and former bodyguard, D. R. Roach (married November 22, 2003). According to her official website, Wynonna filed for divorce from Roach on March 27, 2007 after his arrest for sexual assault on a child under the age of 13.
Before launching her solo career, Wynonna sang as part of one of the most successful and celebrated country music duos with her mother. Together, they were known as The Judds. Wynonna is an active and vocal member of the Recording Artists' Coalition, an American music industry organization that represents recording artists, and attempts to defend their rights and interests. Since her career began some of her achievements include 20 #1 singles, multiple gold, platinum, and multi-platinum albums, multiple Grammy awards and a performance at Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994. In 2000, she shared the stage with rock band Phish.
In November 2003, Wynonna appeared on an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show discussing what she described as a "severe" dependency to food. She has been working with the show to lose a significant amount of weight and get to the root of her dependency. In September 2005 Wynonna made a second appearance on the show, discussing how she has lost some weight (but not yet at her goal weight) and has patched up broken relationships with her mother, and with the man she considers "her dad", Michael Ciminella, from whom she had also been estranged for almost a decade. Both Naomi and Michael visited Wynonna at the Shades of Hope rehab center in Buffalo Gap, Texas, recently, during a family visit, where Wynonna, 42, was being treated for food addiction. In September 2005, in an interview for The Insider, Wynonna also talked about being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance when she was younger.
Wynonna published her memoir, Coming Home to Myself, in September 2005, which became a New York Times Bestseller.
She co-hosted the fourth season of the USA Network series Nashville Star with Cowboy Troy.
On October 10, 2006 Wynonna released her first Christmas Album, A Classic Christmas, as a solo artist. The single that was released, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town( Which her two kids joined her in singing), peaked at #3 on the AC charts.
April, 2007 finds Wynonna back in the studio with longtime producers Brent Maher and Don Potter to record a follow up to 2003's, "What The World Needs Now Is Love"

Bambi, a blonde in her fourth year as a UCLA freshman, sat in her US
government class. The professor asked Bambi if she knew what Roe vs.
Wade was about. Bambi pondered the question then finally said,
"That was the decision George Washington had to make before he crossed
the Delaware."

Hawkman, can you hear us groan? Also liked Noel Coward's pun on Kier.
Thanks again, Boston, for taking time away from Nair to do your bio's here on our little cyber station.
Until our Raggedy arrives, here's one by Wynonna.
Don't Look Back
Time to walk away
You've run out of things to say
Everything ends up the same old story
You don't know where love went
But nothing's making sense
You both know you can't fake it anymore
Don't look back he'll see you cryin'
Don't look back on love that's dyin'
Make believe your heart is made of stone
Don't look back into his eyes
You've already said goodbye
It's over now; you've got to let him go
He's the one you love
But sometimes love is not enough
It's too complicated to explain
No you never will forget
But you'll get over it
Someday just sweet memories will remain
So don't look back; don't break your will
Don't look back at him until
You're far enough to let your feelings show
Don't look back into those eyes
You've gone back so many times
It's over now you've got to let him go
There's a time for everything including leavin'
There's a time the heart admits defeat
And starts it's grieving
