That's the one, Bob. Thanks, Boston.

I was looking again at your bio of Albert Finney. I loved Big Fish, and Cavfancier is the one that recommended that movie.

(by sarah mclachlan, seamus egan, and dave merenda)

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard

But I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to loose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Weep not for the memories

Aaah Letty, I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. I am totally computer illiterate. I'm using google images. I post a link (the address of the picture I want) and then post the next link (address) at the end of the first one. Space down and repeat the same procedure for the next two pictures.

I've posted the lyrics of this song by Leadbelly & later covered by Led Zepellin after seeing the report on BBC News. Link at bottom

"Gallows Pole"

Hangman, hangman, hold it a little while,
Think I see my friends coming,
Riding a many mile.
Friends, did you get a little silver?
Did you get a little gold?
What did you bring me, my dear friends,
To keep me from the Gallows Pole?
What did you bring me to keep me from the Gallows Pole?

I couldn't get no silver, I couldn't get no gold,
You know that we're too damn poor
To keep you from the Gallows Pole.

Hangman, hangman, hold it a little while,
I think I see my brother coming,
Riding a many mile.
Brother, did you get me some silver?
Did you get a little gold?
What did you bring me, my brother,
To keep me from the Gallows Pole?

Brother, I brought you some silver,
I brought a little gold,
I brought a little of ev'ry thing
To keep you from the Gallows Pole.
Yes, I brought you to keep you from the Gallows Pole.

Hangman, hangman, turn your head awhile,
I think I see my sister coming,
Riding a many mile, mile, mile, mile, mile.
Sister, I implore you, take him by the hand,
Take him to some shady bower,
Save me from the wrath of this man,
Please take him,
Save me from the wrath of this man, man.

Hangman, hangman, upon your face a smile,
Pray tell me that I'm free to ride,
Ride for many mile, mile, mile.

Oh, yes, you got a fine sister,
She warmed my blood from cold,
Brought my face to boiling hot
To keep you from the Gallows Pole,
Your brother brought me silver,
Your sister warmed my soul,
But now I laugh and pull so hard
And see you swinging on the Gallows Pole

Well, Raggedy, dear. I think I understand. (at least I will pretend to do so.)

Ever since J.B. mentioned Regina Carter and the fact that she played jazz violin, I have been interested in this lady. Mr. Turtle also took it further. I found this song, but I am not certain that it's the correct one, folks.

Electronic
ยป Freefall

Close your lips
We shouldn't speak of this
I'm not the first person to know
It's only me
Out in the cold
Let me feel joy
I really need it
rush in my blood
I want to feel it
And I'm sure
When it's begun
One into two
Always leaves one
Look at the rain
Look at it falling
Into my world
Why are you calling
Won't you come home
I will not hurt you
Will not deserve you
Will not desert you
Look at the rain
Can't you see
you were so indiscreet
Stole all the change off me
How could I know that you would cheat?
Is it what I've done,
I could be, I could become?
I don't need someone else
This is me, beside myself
Look at the rain
Look at it falling
Into my world
Why are you calling
Won't you come home
I will not hurt you
Will not deserve you
Will not desert you
Look at the rain.

Picture to follow, folks.

Well, listeners, there is a disadvantage to not being alerted to our contributors.

Well, Try. Now we know how it ended as we do in the song by old and knew. (John, to many people)

Thanks to you both for the songs, as I, for one, am not familiar with either.

Heaven For Everyone
Words and music by Roger Taylor

This could be heaven
This could be heaven
This could be heaven for everyone

In these days of cool reflection
You come to me and everything seems alright
In these days of cold affections
You sit by me - and everything's fine

This could be heave for everyone
This world could be fed, this world could be fun
This could be heaven for everyone
This world could be free, this world could be one

In this world of cool deception
Just your smile can smooth my ride
These troubled days of cruel rejection, hmm
You come to me, soothe my troubled mind

Yeah, this could be heave for everyone
This world could be fed, this world could be fun
This could be heaven for everyone, yeah
This world should be free, this world could be one
We should bring love to our daughters and sons
Love, love, love, this could be heaven for everyone
You know that
This could be heave for everyone
This could be heave for everyone

Listen - what people do to their souls
They take their lives - destroy their goals
Their basic pride and dignity
Is stripped and torn and shown to pity
When this should be heaven for everyone

Lovely song, Try. Incidentally, buddy:

This could be "heave" for everyone? Your typo or Roger's. Razz

I can't tell you how many times that I have had to edit the net, listeners.

Cool reflection--I like that phrase.

and, all, an answer from Rio Diamond

Something cool, hey, won't you pour me
Something cool, set one up for me
Anything will do
Just make it something cool
Something sad, hey, won't you play me
Something sad, play one that slays me
Play me something blue
To go with something cool

There's an old flame burning in me
Like the sun in a July sky
Seems to me, I'm always thirsty
Since she left me high and dry

Something cool
Something cool

There's an old flame burning in me
Like the sun in a July sky
Seems to me, I'm always thirsty
Since she left me high and dry

Something cool, hey, won't you pour me
Something cool, set one up for me
Anything will do
Just make it something cool

thanks for posting ...Die Moritat von Mackie Messer
aus der Dreigroschenoper von Brecht-Weill ... , satt_fs .

it was performed at our local theater some years ago , and later this summer we'll be seeing a performance of the "three penny opera"
at our summer theater . it has a beautiful location , it's adjacent to the
st. lawrence river . an outside balcony - which serves as an outside entrance to the theatre - overlooks the river . it's not a very large theater - about 500 seats - but attracts quite a number of outstanding performers who like the idea of combining their career with a nice vacation by the river . the building was originally a canoe club , hence the great location .

Album - Threepenny Opera
Lyrics - Mack The Knife
Artist - Kurt Weill

Oh the shark has pretty teeth dear
And he shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has Macheath dear
And he keeps it out of sight

When the shark bites with his teeth dear
Scarlet billows start to spread
Fancy gloves though wears Macheath dear
So there's not a trace of red

On the side walk Sunday mornin'
Lies a body oozing life
Someone sneakin' round the corner
Is that someone Mack the Knife

From a tugboat by the river
A cement bag's droppin' down
The cement's just for the weight dear
Bet'ya Mackies back in town

Louie Miller disappeared dear
After drawing out his cash
And Macheath spends like a sailor
Did our boy do something rash

Suky Tawdry, Jenny Diver
Polly Peachum, Lucy Brown
Oh the line forms on the right dears
Now that Mackies back in town

Oh the shark has pretty teeth dear
And he shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has Macheath dear
And he keeps it out of sight
Just a jackknife has Macheath dear
And he keeps it out of sight

Hey, Try. I love that song and Bobby Darin, Kevin Spacey, and I have sung it often enough.

Hey, hamburger and satt. Don't get too carried away with Kurt. Walter can't even unlock his suitcases.

For Walter and his combination:

Artist: Deana Carter Lyrics
Song: Brand New Key Lyrics

I rode my bicycle past your window last night
I roller skated to your door at daylight
It almost seems that you're avoiding me
I'm ok alone but you've got something I need

Well, I've gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key
I think that we should get together
And try them out ya see
I've been lookin' around a while
You got somethin' for me
Oh, I gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key

I ride my bike, I roller skate, don't drive no car
Don't go too fast, but I go pretty far
For somebody who don't drive I've been all around the world
Some people say I've done all right for a girl
Oh yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah-yeah

I asked your mother if you were at home
She said yes, but you weren't alone
Oh sometimes I think that your avoiding me
I'm ok alone but you got something I need well

I've gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key
I think that we should get together
And try them out ya see
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
Oh, I gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
Oh, I gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
Oh, I gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
Oh, I gotta brand new pair of roller skates
You got a brand new key
