I'll have a little nipper of brandy. It steadies me.

Well done Letty, and all contributors, congratulations! A milestone.

This is what a thread should be like, no bitching or acrimony, or prima donnas. Discounting me, that is.

Cheers! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Well, having gotten a wakeup call on my cell that there was a big disturbance at WA2K in beautiful downtown cyberspace, I threw on my genes; ran a comb through my hair and drove carefully in the dark to the parking lot.

Fumbling with my keys, I found to my dismay that the main door was unlocked.

Walking in the foyer, I almost fell on several empty beer cans. Who's that behind the sofa, passed out. Mikey, is that you? Wake up Irish. You got work to do.

Bob, I smell sangria. Stale and unpleasant.

My word. I just squished an olive. Raggedy's martini glass sits dry and slightly forlorn. Then there's that gin smell mixed with whiskey. YUK, dys. Who drove you home?

edgar's brandy steadied him, all right. Damn, I wish Seed wasn't in Germany.

McTag is the only sorta sober one, but his eyes do look a bit bleary.

Eva, what a party.

Gotta get the coffee going, but someone told me that the only thing coffee does is produce wide awake drunks.

Better put some soothing automated music on, I guess.

Hoorah! Don't care. We've passed 2000 and we've had fun and all equipment is in tact.

Thanks everyone. You have made our station .............

Number One

Drink, Drink, Drink(Drinking Song)
Mario Lanza
Ein zwei drei vier
Nip your stein and drink your beer
Ein zwei drei vier
Nip your stein and drink your beer
Drink! Drink! Drink!
To eyes that are bright as stars when they're shining on me!
Drink! Drink! Drink!
To lips that are red and sweet as the fruit on the tree!
Here's a hope that those bright eyes will shine
Lovingly, longingly soon into mine!
May those lips that are red and sweet,
Tonight with joy my own lips meet!
Drink! Drink!
Let the toast start!
May young hearts never part!
Drink! Drink! Drink!
Let every true lover salute his sweetheart!
Drink! Drink! Drink!
To arms that are white and warm as a rose in the sun!
Drink! Drink! Drink!
To hearts that will love one, only when I am the one!
Here's a hope that those soft arms will twine
Tenderly, trustingly soon around mine!
All I ask is the right to see the smiling eyes beguiling me
Drink! Drink!
Let the toast start!
May young hearts never part!
Drink! Drink! Drink!
Let every true lover salute his sweetheart!
Let's drink!

Wales? of course you may join. This isn't a country club, my friend. Welcome to A2K and WA2K radio. Now we have Wales represented. GREAT!

Oh, my goodness edgar. A drinking song? Yikes. Mario will never beat Enrico, however. Razz

Well, Wales, my ideas change with the times, but for you:

Imagination of the human mind--the final frontier. How's that!

So I guess I should ask if there are any rules or anything I shouldn't say in case of offense or something? I opened a forum of my own yesterday, about the Da Vinci Code it's in the 'books' forums, I think. Feel free to take a look!

Well, Wales. The moderators decide about the rules, but on WA2K radio we just try and keep the politics on a low key and the music and news on the upbeat. <smile>

We'll certainly take a look at your book review, my friend.

I always loved the song Imagination. Let's see if I can remember it:

Imagination is funny,
It makes a cloudy day sunny,
Makes the bees think of honey.
Just as I think of you,

Imagination is crazy,
Your whole perspective gets hazy,
Always asking the daisy,
What to do; what to do.

(bridge)

Have you ever felt a gentle touch,
And then a kiss,
And then and then.
Find it's only your imagination again,
Oh, well,

Imagination is silly,
You go around willy nilly,
For example, I go around wanting you,
And yet I can't imagine the you,
Want me, too.
