I know you probably mean for the next season, Stilly, but I'm consumed with disappointment at this current tomato fiasco! Sad Evil or Very Mad

I, too, am disappointed in your effort. Here I am handing out ancient wisdom (I did complete my studies in 1991) and you are, like off to the supermarket buying vaguely pink gobular things in the hope that they might actually be tomatoes.... perhaps the manager has been selling you ping-pong balls painted red and you assumed they were cherry tomatoes. Sheesh.

Right, to the basics.....

You are from Melbourne, are you not?

HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, heh......

sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Stilly

OK, OK! Enough of the Melbourne jokes already! Evil or Very Mad

It just so happens that our climate, for PART of this summer, resembled Sydney's Razz .... Hence yucko tomatoes! Fungul things happening. When it wasn't like Sydney it was like the Antarctic .... Shocked The craziest summer I can recall! Anyway .. the tomatoes thought it was too hideous to perform .. & didn't, the little buggers! When we have a normal Melbourne summer they are utterly brilliant. <sniff>

And huge! As long and round as your pinky. One of those things can devour a full grown plant in two days!
