"Each individuals perception represents a direction of thought, a foundation of circumstances, situations, and conditions real only to them. In the world of matter, it is man's seed of life, growth and maturity of aggression or lack thereof, which is the inertia for his marching time, or progressively stepping onward and upwards of.

This seed of life contains man's beliefs that his power of spirit produced all physical designs, moral principles, and patterned forms from concepts of two potentials which his human mind received, retained, interpreted and finalized as thoughts of reality activated by demonstration of manifesting those thoughts in his daily living. No concept given energy of activation returns void to an individual. Each concept allows an individual to see only what their mind projects as principles, patterns and designs which cannot be grasped in complete form, because all comprehensible tenets and visions of men are fragmented human interpretations.

Ancient myths, beliefs, doctrines and traditions become man's intellectual crutch, and have molded his beliefs and dependency on thinking attitudes of the past. Attitudes men believe say to them: in order to perceive the future you must accept our dead visions of history, and the interpretations of men of yesterday concerning us. You must also forget the truth which your individual experiences and visions of today have revealed to you concerning your living." - Julius Fann, Jr

@jufa,
Ancient myths are no different than modern myths. I believe that mythology is an important part of being human, we evolved to believe in truth as part of forming societies.

Modern mythology includes the idea of human rights. We fool ourselves that our sacred beliefs are any more rational than those of other cultures.
