I found several stone anchors on a beach in Northern Brittany, France. I don't even know exactly what beach we were visiting but I think it was near Lannion, as we had visited that town the same day. There are several scattered on the beach. I was with my daughter and son-in-law who live there and even they do not remember exactly where we were that day. My question is about the age of the anchors and who might have visited this area to leave behind the anchors. I know for example that in Asia they continued to use stone anchors until the 1800s, but this is northern Europe.

@Lindesu,
you have to upload the photos to a hosting site, is. imgur or tinypic...
@Region Philbis,
Hmm, don't know how to do that...Advice?
I tried to go to tiny pic. just spinning, not having success.
@Lindesu,
i use imgur -- less hoops to jump thru...
