1,600 Year Old Mayan Tomb Uncovered

I have beeen watching a lot of South American documentaries and I feel their religion of fear lead them to sacrificing first their own children then over time foreigners (other tribes or prisoners). When they ran out of victims the populace probably revolted knowing they could be the next and the priests and royalty were killed and they moved out of the sacrificial pyramids.

Wow, that is so neat. I've seen some Mayan pyramids but not enough. There are some ruins in Cozumel. If I had another life, I'd be an archaeologist. Thanks, littlek.

I've been to some ruins in Cancun and Cozumel. All the good stuff had already happened at those sites.
