Mojave Desert Rock Identification

While at Ft. Irwin for a NTC rotation I found this smooth white stone. I would like help identifying what it is. It was on the side of a road. It is very smooth and almost glass like to the touch.

Its form of cryptocrystalline quartz called chalcedony. There are deeper names of the kind of chalcedony (such as agate), but Id find ome rockhound who does jewelry work or rock tumbling to give you the exact type.
