Calamity Jane + facebook

I guess someone reported me to Facebook that "Calamity Jane" isn't my real name :-) Duh, of course not, however, Facebook requires me now to upload identification with my real name and I am not going to do that. Therefore, I won't return to Facebook.

Could someone please let Ms. Olga, Patty Kennedy (Piffka) and some others from the old A2k know that I won't return. Smile

Thank you so much - I just didn't want to disappear without notice and unfortunately I cannot log in anymore.

I still love Olga, Patty Kennedy, and other people who eloped to facebook. How could I not.

I also hope they relent....we'll see by Monday if I am able to access
the account. What's even more disturbing is that they wanted some form of ID from me which never will happen.

I have one friend on facebook whose name is obviously invented and the site thinks she is male. Probably just a matter of time before she gets the same treatment.

I have been at least 8 years on Facebook as "Calamity Jane" and never had any problems. Someone reported me, probably a Republican Very Happy

Well, I am waiting until Monday to see what Facebook is saying and if they close me down then I will come back with a different name. Very Happy

I'm not that much on facebook, but there aren't many posting their real name in the groups I've joined.

This reminds me what happened a few days ago: a photo by a tourist organisation got blocked, because of improper nudity: it was the statue of "Herkules" in Kassel/Hesse. The organisation solved it and posted the statue with bathing trunks. After some time, facebook excused ...

I have a Facebook account called Black Katt and nobody at Facebook has said I shouldn't. He puts up pictures of dead mice, birds, his new collar, etc, and has had quite a few likes.
