Hi all,

i need to discuss the processes that occur during the formation of magma erupted in active (Andean Type) continental margins above subduction zones.

i need to discuss the events in this order:

subduction slab -> metamorphism -> de watering -> mantle wedge -> partial melting -> fractional crystallisation -> contamination by continental crust -> exsolution of volatiles-eruptions/lavas or pyroclastic eruptions.
