You and FM would love to reduce the discussion of your use of caps to something trivial.

My original comment about them was something of a trivial barb which is something you've had no compunction about launching yourself, and that's all well and good.

It became an issue when you denied that your use of caps was unintentional. That is demonstrably false and for someone who gets so fired up about the truth, really hypocritical.

You could have easily responded to me something like "Who gives a ****?" but you decided to lie.

Everyone lies. I don't know why you would about such a silly thing but it doesn't make you a bad person. It does, to some extent, make you a hypocrite...and so needlessly so.

The issue isn't Olivier's use of caps, it's his lying that it wasn't intentional.

too bad we have such a very limited pallette of color values. Ive always wanted to post in a pattern with a very light value color against a really dark complement.

Oliver's use of caps is trivial, his lying about his intention to use them is not a major league issue but considering his expressed passion about the truth is instructive.
