Hi, I am trying to compare major and trace elements of 2 volcanoes. The hypothesis states they have the same composition. (10% or less difference)
While I can do a simple analysis to see % difference I am wondering if there is an analysis that I could use to compare them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

@Maygav,
A simplified spectral method would be to first add up only the trace elements concentrations and set them equal to 100%. then compare the percentages . If you hve to go beyond that, Id look at factor analysis
