The Distrust Thread

Yep. It gets tiring...

I distrust anyone whose thread gets 1240 hits in a mere few days!

Well, I distrust people who have something to lose. They have lead too sheltered a life. Life should destroy them a little bit more so they're less frightened.

Until the above post, I distrusted Odd Socks. After the statement about life and its destructive properties, I think Odd Socks just might be trustworthy.

Then again, there is that issue with megalomania............

I distrust no one, with the possible exception of dlowan. I have a deep suspicion that dlowan is not a rabbit, doesn't live in Australia, and is not female.

I think that her real name is Bob Carruthers, that she is a retired truck driver with an enormous beer belly, and is, at the present time, sitting in a dark roadside tavern on the outskirts of Toledo, drinking a beer and waiting for her turn at the pool table, all the while scrutinizing the rather ample backside of a waitress by the name of Betty Higgins.

That's one possibility. I also think she might be John Ashcroft.

Or maybe Larry King.


Everyone else on this site, I trust. I have an undying trust in Læknir Scrat. He is quite possibly the most trustworthy character I have ever associated with.

But consider those with whom you associate. In the swamp. On the Satanic threads. Yikes!!!

i distrust people so much that i almost trust them

I trust most regularly posting people here, as their selves show through their posts; even the most purposely insincere have a sincerity... but not all of the thousands who have signed up and not talked with us.

Can't figure out just which choice in the poll fits this...

Oh, and besides that, I can never fully trust anyone with wit to not use it.

I distrust the whole lot of you! well ok, maybe not you, per se. You know the other ones, but not you........but you know who you are. So no worries, eh!

I distrust those with tattood (not sure how to spell that, or even if its a word, or not but...) eyelids.

I do however trust Gus. He's got a third eye, I'm sure of it. In all his many incarnations, he has always worn a hatish type thingy on, or perhaps over it. I believe what he says to be true.

I distrust the dutch a lot, I mean, they've got two names for their country, but claim they want to be called Dutch? How's that for confusing everybody? There's no Dutch in Netherlands, or in Holland.

I think that calls for distrust.

I distrust bartenders. They get me drunk and vulnerable.
I specially distrust Swedish bartenders on assignment to poison the rest of Europe. They put glogg on every drink. Yuck.

OK. He didn't say: "Don't start that thread!" ('cause that was before the appointment). He said "you should not have started that thread", after I got all those nightmares.
