At my hummer feeder I've noticed the hummers are usually wary of bees and wasps but today a really large bumblebee was occupying one of the holes and an aggessive hummer who wanted it just flew up and statrted pecking the bee which flew off after a couple of pokes.

Both beasts are highly original and interesting to observe.

Could the big, fuzzy pig have been a carpenter bee? They have no sting.

I suppose it could. The animal has a proboscis so long it can drink from the hummingbird holes.
