The Leader of the Free World

A dialogue.

The gods, certainly not an unfriendly lot, cast forth their opinions one by one.

"I think it shows potential."

"But to whose benefit? We know who we are, how do they determine the "what" of themselves?"

"Don't any of you think this is a rather odd approach?"

"Of course, but then, creativity was not meant to be static."

"What if they blame us for their own mess? We certainly would have not had hand in the matter."

"Methinks you love too much. Your heart is well noted. Love does not consider its own reward - only its obligation to fulfill itself - more so, it is free."

"True love - an amazing created concept. On the one side of life, there is the true love of the blind, and on the other side is the true love with blinders on. The difference is not between the two but that which is separate from both."

"That is the reason for the whole experiment - to allow them to find that difference."

"But if they don't recognize true love for what it is, how will they ever begin to look for it?"

"Encourage them but leave them alone. If one is forced to love, is the result then, love? Don't be angry, and do not interfere except in rare instances. Time will tell. How they use that time will be their own folly or their freedom. That is the choice of this creation."

The other gods, understanding and not wanting to debase that reply, simply smiled.Â…And the other gods smiled.

===========================

"Why is it necessary for them to leave their bodies to return another time?"

"Two reasons - First, In that they return here to refresh, correct and remind themselves of the reason they are there, and secondly, Since all of that which is being created and up until its completion, it is necessary to change or alter this or that. Within creation, as the alteration takes place, some elements must be disregarded in order for creation to complete itself. "

"Then we can dispense with justice?"

"No. It is an elemental part of life and death."

"How so?"

"In that in some cases it is delivered to them, to others it is remanded of them."

"Then how is it possible to have love when justice intervenes with death?"

"Remember you asked - "Which knowledge is essential? The knowledge of truth or the knowledge of life? And I answered, "The knowledge of life is essential for living, the knowledge of truth is essential for life?"

"Yes, I remember."

"Then living, being the cause of life, results in eternity, and since love created life, why not live with joy and justice and the knowledge derived from them? Therefore, love is possible - nay, imminent - with justice and death.

"But are not some deaths more untimely than others?"

"There is no such thing as an "untimely death," and for that matter, there is no such thing as an "accident." All are done either by us or by their own hands, for one reason or another."

"But what if they are not aware of this?"

"That is where the knowledge of living and life enter. Comparing one to another can only result in love beyond their dimension."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The answer to that question was the beginning of life on Earth.
Of one particular note in establishing life, was whether or not the prime example near the end of the experiment was capable of inspiring the rest of created life.

That prime example became the leader of the "free world" - but did the leader's prime example pave the way for the world to be "free" enough to be free" to find it?

Hi,truemale,

Glad you made it in to A2K. Smile

This piece is quite esoteric, but then so are all religious subjects. I like it, however. because the very "arcaneness" is intriguing.

Hope to see more of you here.

Hi Letty...and tu for the invite, by the way.
Arcane? Nah...it's quite in the open, really.
The so-called mysteries of life are NOT hidden, they are just "unknown..."
