Another message about where to live in Sydney - sorry !!!
We have now decided a school where we want to send our son to in North Strathfield. Any advice about nice places to live nearby (20 minutes walk or train journey). Looking for a place near parks, cafes etc.

east and north of there is slightly better than west and south of there.
So off the top of my head, Burwood, Concord, Canada Bay, Cabarita, and Mortlake are all within a few kms of North Strathfield.
