Hi, i wonder if u could give me some info on a partner visa for australia.
i'm traveling from the uk to marry my partner in australia.
Thing is i have had trouble with the police afew yrs ago...the records are now spent but i did have afew crimes. i.e car theft, conspiracy to defraud an insurance company, receiving stolen goods and actual bodily harm.

any help would be most helpful thanks Smile

Ouch - sorry I did not see this - I will bump it up in hopes of a more informed Australian than I seeing it - and try to search out some info for you myself, when I can.

When you apply for visa they will ask for a Certificate of No Criminal Conviction issue by your local police(in your case UK).
I wouldn't put a high hope with the record you have.

My brother had quite a bad record and he used this migration agency who got him in to Australia, I think they were called OE Visas or something, they were in Edinburgh anyway and I think they had a website too.. maybe google it?
