@McGentrix,
Some Canadian news said he "liked" Trump on Facebook regularly.

What does the Alt-Right have to do with any of this? I've yet to see blame thrown around and they have the 2 shooters in custody. Let's wait and see what happens before we start spreading these kinds of thing as Lash has started here.

The Alt-Right has everything to do with this. The purpose of this story is to dehumanize Muslims.

Blaming the Muslims for a mosque shooting that left several Muslims dead is straight from the Alt-Right playbook. Any portrayal of Muslims as human beings (let alone as victims of terrorism) goes against their narrative.

That is why people are spreading these awful stories... and why people are willing to accept them.

I assume that you, McGentrix, can admit that Muslims are human beings and that Muslims are being targeted for hate crimes.

It would sure be nice to hear you say so.

Man you are so full of ****. You act like there is no possible way at all that this could have been Muslim on Muslim violence.

You are 100% certain it is some right wing nazi sympathizers.

That's just crazy. You hold no room for discourse or movement toward unity. Its tossing every right winger into the fire. You are no better.

He was right. There was no way it could have been Muslim on Muslim violence. Partly because of where it happened.

It was a right-wing Trump supporter. That was in the news yesterday morning and has been confirmed since. The only question remaining is whether terrorism will be one of the charges (just listened to a police news conference on the matter).

More coming out in news conferences in the last hours. Very much a known supporter of Trump and Le Pen.

@Krumple,
Again Krumple,

When the murder of Jewish people is blamed on a Jewish conspiricacy do you justify it in the same way?

I don't.

This is pretty hateful stuff (assuming you see both Jews and Muslims as human beings).

@Olivier5,
I guess it's because the ones where young men kill people they don't know are the ones I am concerned about - and that catch the attention of the news.

I kind of expect most murders to be of people that are known/family members. The random ones like Ecole Polytechnique are the ones that are the tall poppies - and they happen in Quebec (looking at your link confirmed that for me).

@maxdancona,
Max, this is a really underhanded method you are using to attempt to front the narrative that Muslims are to blame for this shooting. You continue to repeat it. I guess you're part of the fake news cult that believes the more you repeat something, people will begin to believe it--why all the hatred against Muslims??

I mean, I have noticed your misogyny & I guess that does extend to most people to a hatred of minorities.

Ok. I see you now.

At least you've finally acknowledged CNN is a fake news site.

Links that he was a Trump supporter or just supposition?

Quebec City mosque attack suspect Alexandre Bissonnette charged with 6 counts of 1st-degree murder

Quote:
Bissonnette's Facebook page seemed to confirm those political leanings. The suspect followed several profiles that espouse right-wing ideologies, including that of Marine Le Pen, the far-right leader of France's National Front.

@Lash,
Let me spell it out very clearly, Lash. There is nothing underhanded about what I am saying. I am saying it right clearly and directly so there is no mistaking what I am saying.

This thread is hateful bigotry. You are taking an ethnic group that has just suffered a violent attack against them, and you are accusing them of a conspiracy that makes them responsible.

In this case the ethnic group happens to be Muslims. The same thing has happened to other ethnic minorities.

This is hateful bigotry.

Don't be like that. You started this thread as a conspiracy theory.

@maxdancona,
Again, you are incorrect. I said, nor thought, the attack was from a Muslim origin. You allow yourself to become carried away by emotion frequently.

@McGentrix,
I think there is quite a jump from watching an investigation for clues that it could have been orchestrated to accusing me of blaming Muslims.

That was not even a thought.

A few Muslims have falsely claimed attacks by trump supporters or slack-jawed ignorants, but some events and attacks have been orchestrated and paid for by individuals who stand to profit politically. The initial report from CNN lent to suspicion.

Krumple has spend a lot of time and energy questioning the amount of Jewish people killed in the Holocaust.

Your first post:

Now you are wondering why anyone is thinking you might be blaming Muslims?!

Is someone else posting under your name?

Bissonnette’s Facebook profile was deleted at some point on Monday, and combing through an archived screenshot showed he “liked” a wide range of pages that did not fall under a specific ideology. Among the pages he “liked” were those of U.S. President Donald Trump, far-right French politician Marine Le Pen, the federal NDP and former NDP leader Jack Layton.

@Walter Hinteler,
The most recent news (they're doing updates about every 20 minutes) make things clearer.

The answer to the thread title becomes obvious - and perhaps the intent of the OP.
