Book Covers I Love

For some reason, I'm having a heck of a time uploading any new images this morning. Trying to upload Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale most famous cover.

I'm looking at my saved books' bookshelf. Wait until I get to the art books.. maybe some of them have good covers too.



This is not the cover on my book. First of all, my book's cover is held together with some silver christmas twine; the cover wrap is basically a good Danube map. I don't see that on Amazon. Maybe on AbeBooks.com, which I prefer anyway.

I think I bought the book when I still lived in Los Angeles, at a particularly crummy but wonderful store called Marlow's, in Santa Monica. Haven't seen a store like that since.. I see my particular book was translated in '89. I remember reading every word, more or less.

There are more covers I want to put here. Just not the right time.
