When is the best time of the year to see sun dancing as i planned to be in usa next year i was going in april, but may go in may so i have may,june,july there, as i was told that most pow wows etc are held in July, August..

Also there is a dance or cermony that the dancers do not eat or even drink water for four days i forget what the name is do you know it.?

Also anything of interest in tradional indian culture,pow wows and traditional places would be of help though seen by the native american indian way and not the way of the tourist i would prefer, as i am looking for a native american indian man guide.
