Not quite my position, edgar, but the argument has merit. Are you familiar with Jay Rosen's work?

I am aware of Rosen but have not followed him extensively. I will take a closer look today.

Go to his blog Pressthink. Lots of content but his pieces are very well thought out and smart as hell. As I've said, I think he's the brightest observer/critic of media around. Try to find pieces on "the view from nowhere". He thinks, and I agree, that the problem identified sits at the base of what those two fellas in the video were pointing to.
