This is where Oli went on about 'democracy', better known as mob-rule by cretins.

Snowflake Oli is under the false impression that America is a democracy - it's not & never will be.

I challenge this Snowflake and his ilk to find one example of the word 'democracy' being used in our constitution.

@Builder,
When the country was founded, it was 90% rural and 10% urban. Now those proportions are pretty much reversed, 10% rural and 90% urban. Small and underpoppulated states already are disproportionately represented in the senate. Why should the office of the president, who represents EVERYBO DY be dominated by the the small minority as well? One person, one vote. And equating democracy with mob rule is an absurdly simplistic, FLATLY WRONG, loopy right wing meme. We live in what is more or less a representative, constitutional democracy. Everybody can vote (NOW--it took us two centuries and more to get there, everybody is guaranteed rights. The trouble is The loudest most intoleratn people subvert the will of the people as determined by the popular vote. What ww are about to be living in is Trumpism, and thatr's the real mob rule, not democracy.

You'd think so, but they lack the reasoning and intelligence. Even now when Trump picks the most elitist cabinet in History his lickspittles are still banging on about the political elite losing out.

Home of the brave? You're having a laugh.

actually democratic republic and democracy are fairly synonymous in practice. It was developed to give small states the same clout as the large ones but with every state hving an important input.

You should read the articles and the arguments re: The "Federalist Papers"

@MontereyJack,
If this was a mob rule democracy, California, Texas, and New York would choose our president every time.

Thank God we are NOT a mob rule democracy, the electoral college was created to prevent this from happening and it worked.

@Frugal1,
She clearly represented the will of the country. Donald Trump didn't and doesn't. 2.84 million more votes for Hillary. Trump is illegitimate.

@Frugal1,
well, she actually won the vote of most voters in the US, dont forget that. The winner take all from the rust belt and the combined "fly over " vote merely did Hillqry in . I think the voters who voted in PA FOR TRUMP are now having their eyes opened qs they see that he cant do half the crap he lyingly promised (like return coal mining jobs).

Thats why used car salesemen arent a dying breed. Trumps the master huckster

You Snowflakes claim to be educated & intelligent, but for some reason none of you can figure out how the country was set-up to ward off mob-rule. Did they not cover this in any of your classes, or did you choose to ignore the facts?

She lost - He won
DEAL WITH IT.

Oli is having a very tough time accepting reality & responsibility for this liberal
democrat failure. Can anyone deliver a coloring book and some crayons to Oli?

@Frugal1,
I have been writing here that THE US ARE NOT A DEMOCRACY. Which one of those capitalized words don't you understand?

EDIT: Beside, I am not responsible for anything the DNC ever did. That's because I'm not a dem. I'm not even American. You guys can have whatever political system you want. Just don't tell me "the people have spoken and they elected Trump" . The people actually voted for Clinton, and that's a fact.

@Olivier5,
They don't know what snowflake means. That's what happens when you have poor English skills and try to latch onto someone else's vernacular.

The term originated over here shortly after Cadburys launched it.

It's a term used to, (insultingly) describe someone who is black on the outside but white inside.
