Yes, I saw that story on BBC Ceefax this morning, and was intending to track down some more stuff on it. Does it appear anywhere else? Any more links?

Good find, thanks dlowan.

Could this be the result of another one of Gus's experiments gone bad?

But seriously, that's pretty amazing that it can kill a lion.

It IS Gus! Sadly, some of his more 'extreme' research has caused him to revert to an earlier ape-ish form. You don't believe me? Remember when Kirk and Spock went back in time to a place where Vulcans hadn't renounced emotions and Spock went a little 'postal' on Kirk's ass coz there was a bit of space-floozy there?

That's what has happened to Gus. I know you may say that he is somewhat less hairy and has more sort of human-like features and appears to have developed the rudimentry behaviour of a creature more advanced than say a........ mollusc, but it IS our own Gus and we must love him like a.... lower form of life... just not one from THIS planet.

Montana. I am taken aback. It is cruel to mock the afflicted. Funny, perhaps. Hilarious even, in Gus's case, but STILL cruel. Shocked I am. Just shocked.

This is actually a shame, because as stated this is a lawless area. Undoubtedly poachers will now decimate the likely tiny population. Sad they had to reveal their findings.
