Pan was half goat. I can't speak for panzade though.
Back in the first issues of A2K Illustrated it was revealed that: SHOCK! Pan was the result of a dalliance between dlowan the rabbit and gustav the goat. In subsequent issues panzade was cursed to wander alone never having known his parents!
I so wish I could find an image of a goat with rabbit legs playing with his pipe....alas, I'm not up to the task.

It is indeed JB, but as they say (just who are 'they' anyway?) sometimes if you love someone you must set them free and then chatter until they decide to come back.
