When I try to access Facebook, either by clicking a link, or by typing in the address bar the result is the same; the following message:
Secure Connection Failed
Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
Please contact the web site owner to inform them of the problem.
As I cannot access the website, I cannot contact them!
Any suggestions?

I'm not a techie type (and almost never use Facebook). So unless someone more knowledgeable arrives to help you, I'd suggest you enter that error code into google and sort through the answers given. You'll likely find the solution to your browser problem that way.
