I've come to look at longevity a bit differently. That's because I'm now 81 years old, and have seen too many die at a young age. It also depends on where one lives. There are huge differences even within one city such as Chicago, where I have lived in the past.
I've come to believe that when our time comes, there's not much we can do to change it.
We see people survive plane crashes, while others meet their maker.
