I read this in a thread in the philosophy forum.

Asherman wrote:
Obviously we have differing views on the present administration, and propriety of its policies in the wake of 9/11. Though oil was a minor element in the decision to oust Saddam, I believe there were other far more important justifications for U.S. action there. My views as to those justifications can be found easily in many postings to A2K, if you are interested those posts are easily found.

What I want to know is:

Is there any way I can search forums for posts containing certain keywords?

If so, can I limit the search to he posts of only one person?

I didn't think there was any such mechanism, but when it was stated that earlier posts on an issue were easily found I needed to ask.

Thanks in advance.

Or just click on the blue word Search near the top of every page.

Thok gave you the correct url, but FYI, the link can be found on most every page. The third row of words from the very top of the A2K page includes "Search", between "FAQ" and "Memberlist". Just click on that.

Once there, the actual search mechanism is pretty self-explanatory.

Welcome to A2K!

Will you belive that I have been looking for that for days? Embarrassed There is one on every forum, and I couldn't find it on this one. It was driving me crazy. And where is it? Right i front of me, although in my defence it was written in blue on blue background.

Well thanks

At the blue bar on the top, between "FAQ" and "Memberlist".

Using the post vs thread option definitely makes things easier within the search.
