Squid in Love
A French trimaran sailing in a round-the-world race was attacked by a giant squid in the mid-Atlantic, its skipper, Oliver de Kersouson, announced by radio.
"The squid was pulling really hard, so we put the boat about and when we came to a stop the tentacles let go. We saw it behind the boat and it was enormous"; 9 m long, a crewman reckoned.
Only 250 have been seen since 1639, so maybe it was just lonely.
Sure it wasn't the sick squid some-one owed him?
