I was recently in Central Mexico and found a weird round rock with a metallic core and a smell of phosphors. What is it and how is it formed. The orb has a much more silver appearance than the picture shows

@almanza86,
It might be slag from a refinery. Did you find it near any type of mining or refining operations?

@rosborne979,
The rock, orb, sphere was found out on a farm/ranch, has slowly been falling apart but was a complete sphere at one point

@almanza86,
Try to find farmerman on other forums. He's a geologist and teaches advanced geology at university.
