Relation between flow of time and expansion of universe

I think that as we live in expanding universe, the flow of time is always forward. The entropy change which explains the flow of time is not sufficient answer. So is the flow of time related with the expansion or contraction of universe?

@nayrutya,
Why is "the entropy change which explains the flow of time" (as you put it), not a sufficient answer? Does something about it not make sense?
