Why does Neil de Grasse claim that the most amazing fact is that the atoms that built our universe and us came from dead stars?
Has this been proven?

@yovav,
Well a star is born in a cloud ( a dust of left over stars ), That dust drifts away from the cloud, and forms the new star which has a gravitational pull that forms planets in time. It might look like eons or forever for that to happen but the life cycle of a solar system goes on until the end of a suns life.

The sun will either
1. Become a black hole and suck everything into a black dwarf
2. Return to the white dwarf state.
3. Explode

I forget but their are so many outcomes. Point being is that those clouds are formed from the death of a star, which births new stars.

NOTE: Space has no colors. These are all suggestive colors by scanning of radiation, or even translating via computer generated colors.

@yovav,
Most likely it is a far better theory than whatever your theory is. What’s your theory?
