A German tv-team - actually on the Persian Gulf for doing background report about the Formula 1 race in Bahrain - found by pure change a Russian "Buran"- space shuttle.
It seems that's the 1988 test version, which just did one flight.

According to a tv-team member, a German business man has already bought this shuttle and will sell it partly on the internet (ebay?)

If i remember correctly the test flight was not maned but radio controlled. This is a much more difficult feat to accomplish.

I have a brother who at the time was connected with the US space program (planetary research) and according to him the NASA engineers were very impressed.
