I find this quite interesting.Onomatopoeia is maybe where language began.
Would you say "thingers and fumbs" more accurately conveys confusion than "fingers and thumbs".It seems to me to take the confusion to another level.And "Shock and Awe" is better with "whushbacked" than Bushwhacked.I mean better for literary purposes.Not when you hear the "Whush".
The captain of a rust bucket might be said to be running a "shight tip" rather than the other.
