Not sure how that's relevant. I'm not questioning his political leanings. I've been a registered Democrat since ... 1995.

I'm not sure why Anthony Weiner is relevant. He is no longer a political figure. If he wants to sext strangers, it really isn't our business. Not sure that it ever was, but it certainly isn't now.

Not necessarily true. The recent buzzworthy documentary that came out this year documented his 2013 mayoral campaign and his second tragic fall from grace, Weiner, could quite possibly grab an Oscar nomination.

I don't think Anthony is trying to claim the sainthood like many republican hypocrites. So Anthony is a sleaze, so are MANY other people.

The porn industry makes billions (with a b) off people like Anthony.

His wife was right to dump his sorry ass.

I just don't think this this story is that news worthy compared to republicans who take the moral high ground while doing worse.

Some hypocrite republican is having a lecherous laugh over all of this.

His act is not hypocritical in that he's never run on a anti-porn or "family values" platform. Can't we just let this guy self destruct in private?

Mr. Weiner is still part of of the New York City political theater. He writes guest columns in local newspapers which are sold at places nationally and even internationally. Additionally, he appears on various news and pseudo-news programs offering up his views. By doing this he has maintained a presence on the political front and kept himself somewhat relevant. Whether he plans another run for office in some space- city council, state senate or state assembly or mayor or even governor remains to be seen.

If a member of a political party does something repulsive, (like Trumps pussygate remark) it can be immediately excused because some other sleaze bag from the the opposition did something disgusting. So, apparently, no one will ever have to pay for disgusting behaviour, it just equals out. What bullshit.
