Wildlife Cards?

This morning I was in my basement looking for an old CD when I found a stack of wildlife cards. On the front of the cards there were pictures of mammals, birds, insects etc. Also on the front is the region where the particular animal lives. On the back there is some information, and at the bottom it says:

(c) 1976, Editions Recontre S.A., Lausanne
(c) 1976, English translation, Editions Recontre S.A., Lausanne

Does anyone know anything about these cards. I have no idea where they came from, too.
