Edit [Moderator]: Moved from General to Forum Help.

Is there a point in answering posts in which the last answer is more than a few months old?

Is there a time limit that you follow in answering posts?

Personally I like to revive old topics, the older the better. I'll search through the year 2003 and find some silly stuff. A lot of fun.

Some of them deserve to be revived. There is an old thread on the necessity of CV joint boots that keeps coming back. I haven't followed it, but there is probably a wealth of information on the subject that might not get covered if the question were asked afresh. Likewise, one on internet dating that lives forever, though some of the oldies tend to digress after a certain length.
