Help me find some conflict handling games I can use in my course....please
Conflict handling games? You mean like conflict resolution?
Role play is the most obvious -- you can tailor the situation to your students.
Who are you teaching? What is the specific goal?
I am teaching a Self Discovery course where we basically give them skills in negociation and problem solving, and in order for them to realise what a conflict is we want to put in an exercise to make it more apparent. The goal being identifying problems and how to resolve it without too much damage to either party involved.....
Role play.
I did a lot of that. I worked with kids ~16-24, and some older adults, mostly with little education, often from very difficult backgrounds (gangs, drug abuse, etc.)
Tell me more about your group, the more details the better.
Ok, age groups are whatever.....not under 16 normally...
The majority of the groups we get are people who work in youth organizations for benefits to society. We basically create high impact groups that can work in a synergy to benefit society and government to the fullest. So they need to know how to identify and deal with conflict in groups.....can you give some examples of roleplay in conflict handling, a base or a structure for best execution....
Hello, its me again, I have like 5 min right now, can someone give me an example of a good conflict handeling game. thank you
Try this website or do your own search. Put in keywords "conflict resolution lessons".
You'll have to register for the TeacherVision site but it's free and it's worth the two seconds it takes.
Good luck!
