Catfights are HOT! But why?

In the interest of revising my reputation from sullen Politico-Boy, I offer you this:

"From celebrity dustups to Miller Lite's latest take on 'tastes great/less filling', the claws are out in Hollywood."

Why is it that women publicly arguing is so in vogue these days?

(MHO is that it's the hormones in the meat we eat...it's made us all fat and aggressive, just the like the cows and the chickens and the turkeys...)

You know, there was a Seinfeld episode about this and Elaine ask the same question - why is it that men love cat fights?

The answer - because there is a possibility that because they are in such close physical contact, they might kiss.

And, because I don't feel like working, here's a piece of that script!

Jerry: Did you tell Peterman about this?

Elaine: Well, I tried, but he thought it was some sort of cat fight.

Kramer: Cat fight?

Elaine: Ok, why? Why do guys do this? What is so appealing to men about a cat fight?

Kramer: Yeye cat fight!

Jerry: Because men think if women are grabbing and clawing at each other there's a chance they might somehow kiss.

Come on...the possibility that they'll be naked is good, just a glimpse I think makes it worthy of attention to many...that whole kiss thing..well, maybe that as well.

I remember the Bud Lite commerical - First time I saw it was at a party for the Ohio State/Miami championship game. During commericals (at home, I never watch them) we turn the sound off for the necessary loud mouth BS sessions (we take full responsibility for defeating Miami). Anyway, this commerical came on and the room went dead silent (including TV) for the duration. That makes a successful commerical!

Barbie, the only person of the opposite sex in the room, thought our actions were a hoot!

Most of America missed the last line in that commercial as it was deemed "inappropriate" by the local broadcasters. Fortunately I live in an area that doesn't think much of censorship. The two girls are sitting there in the cement mix and one says "Wanna make out?".

I have DirecTV, so maybe that has something to do with it. I am not joking, that is the last thing said in the full commercial.
