How do you grow myrtles/jaboticabas from seeds?

I bought some jaboticaba at the farmer's market yesterday, and want to grow some bushes from the seeds. Does anyone have any idea how to go about doing that? I am currently drying them out on a papaer towel, as you would papaya seeds, but don't know if that's necessary (since it's relly not necessary for papaya either.) Any thoughts/tips/ advice?
