Hi..
does anyone know the difference between liberal arts colleges and other colleges? are they better? any help would me much appreciated Smile

Liberal Arts colleges tend to be smaller, and more focused on the arts, as opposed to the sciences.

Also, just because it's focused on the arts doesn't mean it's other programs are any less good. Lafayette in Pennsylvania has an excellent engineering program, and Bowdoin, an excellent, Ivy League-caliber school in Maine, along with Bates and Colby, have top-notch marine biology program. You just have to look around.
